Office building Roma
This elegant historic building is located in walking distance from the Colosseum, overlooking Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II in the heart of the Eternal City. The spaces on the top floor have been recently renovated to accommodate modern offices that enjoy spectacular views of the Roman skyline.
From the large windows installed in the new office spaces you can admire the dome of the Pantheon and the flag that flies over the Quirinale Palace - the residence of the President of the Italian Republic.
For the renovation of the attic, the architects of studio Valle 3.0, who were in charge of the project, worked closely with the fabricator Perla in order to find the right solution for the window and door elements.
Large sliding doors over 3 meters high have been installed in the main meeting room to ensure maximum transparency and daylight inside the offices; these elements also had to be perfectly aligned with the pre-existing steel mullions in the original structure of the building, in order to avoid obstacles to the view on the outside. The lift-and-slide system CP 155-LS from Reynaers Aluminum was chosen to achieve these requirements. Thanks to the maximum dimensions that can be achieved and the insulation performances, the system fully satisfied the technical, performance and aesthetic design requirements.
Horizontal pivot windows realized with Reynaers CS 77 system were installed in the office rooms.
The fixed pentagon-shaped element and the smaller windows installed in the common and service areas of the offices were installed using the thin profiles of Reynaers Slim Line 38 window serie.
